The project “CROWD” began with a couple MULTITUDE that was subsequently surrounded by a crowd. These are streamlined objects, handmade from different clays and covered with glazes in the same dark metallic colour scheme. Shape and colour dictate the character of each persona.

The final understanding of the sense of crowd crystalized during their arrangement for the photo shoot.

Depending on the positioning in relation to each other, the mood of the group changed. In one setting there exists a sense of calm and balance, in another of wariness and tension.

The relationship in the pair depends mainly on the female subject. By shifting slightly, relative to the “man”, she can dramatically change the relationship.
