Ceramics have always fascinated me since \u00a0my childhood. I wanted to touch them, look at them, hear the clinking of them against each other, see the transparency, feel the smoothness of the surface.<\/p>\n<p>I came to ceramics after a long artistic self-discovery. The inspiration and the desire to try came during the ceramic biennale in Carouge (Switzerland) in 2017. Then I was struck by the diversity and unconventionality of ceramics as art. Once I tried to work with clay, I could never stop.<\/p>\n<p>With that the most favorite means of self-expression is the hand building. This technique is interesting to me because of its variety, the maximum control over the created form.<\/p>\n<p>Before I start a project, I spend a long time &#8220;nurturing&#8221; the idea, studying the subject in detail, doing a lot of sketches and models.<\/p>\n<p>Every object I create is found in life. It is a lived emotion, materialized in the clay. And my main goal as an artist is to make the viewer stop, think, try it on, agree or argue.<\/p>\n<p>The main task is to create such a work, where in form, color, plot and even shadow you can find your personal lived moments, perhaps, to relive them again.<\/p>\n<p>I cannot imagine my life without ceramics. It gives me endless opportunities to constantly acquire new knowledge and skills, self-improvement. Every day is filled with creative search and experiments. Anything, shape, shadow, music can be an inspiration for new projects.<\/p>\n<p>Ceramics for me is a cosmos of possibilities of artistic expression. It is an endless experiment and each time with an unpredictable result.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand I am attracted by the diversity of techniques, on the other &#8211; by the unpredictability of the result.<\/p>\n<p>You cannot be the only author to the end. There is no dictatorship of the artist.
